Berkeley Search Consultants Congratulates Efton Hall, Jr As Our New Senior Vice President

Efton Hall, Jr. has been promoted from Vice President, Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice to Senior Vice President, Healthcare, Life Sciences & Public Sector Practice.

Following his previous role as Vice President, Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, Efton Hall, Jr. builds on his personal track record of success by expanding the firm’s focus to include an increased emphasis on the public sector search. As Senior Vice President, Healthcare, Life Science & Public Sector Practice, Efton manages client engagements, as well as mid-to-senior level executive searches in all three verticals.

Efton initially joined Berkeley Search Consultants (BSC) in 1992 and invested two decades of his professional career with the company. After establishing a very successful healthcare executive search practice, he was recruited back into the healthcare industry in 2002 to be a Hospital Administrator, In-Patient and Acute Care Services at Alameda County Medical Center. He later served as Interim CEO for the organization. Efton went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Medical Center – Hayward before returning to BSC. The time back in the field has allowed Efton to enrich his industry knowledge which greatly benefits the clients he serves.

Efton’s prior experience as a hospital and health system executive, as well as his experience in the public sector, distinguishes him amongst search consultants with similar specialties.

As he commences his third decade in search, Efton will expand the public sector practice for BSC while he continues to provide leadership for the healthcare and life sciences practice. Building on his personal track record in both the private and the public sectors, BSC will be able to develop dedicated teams that will continue to provide unparalleled search results for every client.

Berkeley Search Consultants retained to help Marin County recruit for the new DIRECTOR OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

Berkeley Search Consultants is pleased to announce that they have been selected to partner with the County of Marin Department of Human Resources to identify and attract qualified candidates for the Director Health and Human Services position. This key role, appointed by the Board of Supervisors, will lead the Department of Health and Human Services. The Director is the administrative head of the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services and will have oversight of a $198 million budget, over 700 employees and approximately forty programs that are located throughout the county and community.
